Snow, Disney, and Kitties

It has been snowing here alllll week!  I haven't been out of the house since Monday.  Kind of depressing when you think about it.  But I love having the blinds open and watching it snow.  As long as I don't have to worry about driving in it, then it's the most beautiful thing ever!  Steven has been driving my Jeep to work everyday, and there's no way I'm trying to maneuver his car in the snow.  Luckily I haven't needed to go anywhere, seeing as how I'm unemployed and all.

We're going into Cleveland to see Disney on Ice tomorrow afternoon!  Steven's company has box seats at Quicken Loans Arena (where the Cavaliers play), so they get free tickets to any other events there.  It's a cool perk.  Unfortunately, no big concerts are coming.  It seems like most concerts come to Columbus, or even Toledo, before they come to Cleveland.  But hey, Cleveland has the Rock 'N' Roll Hall of Fame, so what else could you ask for?

We had a near death experience the other day.  We have a loft in our townhome that overlooks the living room.  Well, our two kitties like to jump up on the half wall of the loft and just lay there, or run across it and scare us to death.  When we first moved in, Abbie got distracted, lost her balance, and fell off the wall, down into the living room.  Luckily, Steven was standing right there watching her and was able to catch her.  You would think that would have scared her enough to stop her from doing that.  Well, it didn't.  Her and Maggie still get up there all the time.  A couple of days ago, she was up there again (we're getting used to it now), and I guess she lost her balance again and fell off and neither of us was there to catch her!  She landed on her feet, but extremely close to the end table.  She kind of bounced a little bit.  Funny looking back on it but not funny at the time.  After she landed, she took off running into the bedroom, where we did a thorough inspection of her and she seemed to be fine.  I think her whole life flashed before her eyes, though, because she loves us more than she did before.  She won't leave my side, and insists on either being in my lap or right beside me.  She sits in the bathroom while I'm taking a shower, even.  Crazy kitty.

That's Abbie, laying right beside me while I'm on the computer.
