Check it out.  This little pop art project has turned out to be a major hit.  I never expected it!  I mean, it's not a very original idea, so I thought people would think it was neat, then just forget about it, but I'm so happy that so many people have found inspiration from it!  If you remember, I made them as presents, and the kids' birthday was yesterday, so I finally got to give them to them!  Of course, the birthday girl and boy are 3 and their sister is 4, so they could really care less, but I think their parents really liked them.  They're hanging in a place of honor in their foyer.  I just wanted to make them something to keep so they could always have a reminder of me.  And they really don't need any more Iron Mans or Ariels that will be forgotten as soon as the next thing comes around.  I get so much more joy from giving meaningful hand-made gifts than going out to Toys-R-Us and picking up the latest and greatest.  Don't you agree?

In other news, I am tired.  This week has been exhausting!  My brain has been going a million miles a minute, as well as my body.  Once 10 p.m. rolled around last night, my body refused to cooperate anymore, and I think I was asleep before my head hit the pillow.  But I woke up pretty refreshed this morning, so I think my body is trying to tell me that I need to go to sleep that early more often.  I wish I didn't need 9 hours of sleep so I could spend more time here in blogland.  I envy those people who can survive off 3 or 4 hours of sleep, but that's just not me.

This little ol' blog had 655 hits on Tuesday.  That's my highest single day hit count ever.  Can you believe that?!  Linky parties really do wonders for my hit counter.  Thank you to everyone who stops by and takes a look around.

Okay, back to reading incredibly inspirational blogs and planning my next project...
