Lazy Weekend

Sunday, October 17, 2010

I have been doing a whole lot of nothing this weekend.  I started a few crafts, but haven't felt like finishing them (plus I need to print a few things and my printer is out of ink - go figure).  Lazy days don't really agree with me.  Whenever I sit around and do nothing all day, I get a headache and I just feel rotten.  I much prefer being busy, but sometimes, it's nice to just be lazy.

I dropped Steven off at the airport Friday night.  He has to work in NC for the next two weeks, so I won't see him until I drive down (by myself!) October 30th.  Have you ever made a long car trip by yourself?  It takes 8 hours to get to NC from here, and lemme tell ya, it is the longest 8 hours ever.  We're going to help Steven's dad with election day (he's running for school board!), and then we're coming back up on the 3rd.  I'll be home for a couple weeks, then I'm going to Florida with work, then the day after I get back from Florida, I leave for NYC, then straight home to NC for Thanksgiving.  Whew!  November will be a busy month.  And as soon as we get back from Thanksgiving, we have to start thinking about packing, because more than likely, our time here in The Frozen North will be up December 13.  But don't you worry, my blog will continue on under another name (to be announced at a later date).  I'll keep you updated.

Now, it's time for The Amazing Race and then to get ready for another week.

Hope you guys had as unproductive a weekend as I had!
