Exhausted already

I am exhausted.  Only a week into the official holiday season and I'm already worn out!  I've spent every night this week working on our Christmas cards, and of course, I can't stop working on them until I'm at a good stopping point, which translated into getting into bed after 11:30 every night!  (FYI: I'm normally in bed by 10.)  But I'm finished now (yay!) and just have to drop them off at the post office tomorrow.  I'll post some pics of them after I think most people have gotten theirs (wouldn't want to ruin the surprise y'all!).  I don't know why I insist on making our Christmas cards every year instead of buying the pre-packaged kind or ordering them online, but I just can't help it... I have to make them more unique each year!  I don't think I'm reinventing the wheel or anything with my 2010 card, but I think they're pretty cool!  I learned my lesson with glitter last year so I didn't do any of that, which actually made the process go by MUCH faster.  And Steven helped punch out circles and stars, which was a huge help.  Anywho, that's one thing checked off the list, about 999 to go.

This weekend I'm hoping to make a ton of progress on my handmade gifts for my cousins.  I started on them last night, and having them all laid out side by side made it really kind of overwhelming, but I'm hoping I get into a rhythm and that it doesn't take that long!  (Yeah, right.)  And then through the wonderful world of blog-hopping yesterday, I came across another project I want to make for the women in my life.  Luckily, it will require no materials on my part (yay free!), but probably enormous amounts of time.  And I have to have everything done before we move back to NC in two weeks.  Ugh.  Okay, enough thinking about it... I just have to take one thing at a time!

Steven and I are going to a Christmas party Saturday night, which should be fun, although I still have to figure out what I'm going to wear.  I bought a really cute chiffony sleeveless top at Gap on Black Friday... it was already on sale, and then everything was an extra 50% off until 10 a.m. so I got it for $9!  I got some cute sweater tights at Kohl's this morning when I took the twins shopping for their Christmas outfits (omg, kid clothes are sooo cute!), so I'm trying to figure out how I'm going to incorporate a sleeveless top and sweater tights into a holiday-appropriate outfit.

Anywho, hope you all have a lovely weekend!
