I don't know why, but I am sooo tired today.  It's 2 p.m. and I still feel like I just woke up!  I think I need a nap.

So, I got to see the kids I used to nanny for when I was in Ohio this weekend.  I didn't realize just how much I missed them!  They've changed so much in just two months.  It was so sweet... when I got there they were all in the playroom with their new nanny, and she heard me walk in and said "Guys, look who's here!" (because you know how kids get enthralled in their toys and have no idea what's going on around them), and the 4-year-old (almost 5 - wow!) girl yelled my name and ran up and gave me the biggest hug, followed closely by her sister and brother.  The boy (who's 3 and is a little delayed in his speech, but has improved so much since I left it's unbelievable) went back to the toy he was playing with after hugging me, then turned around and in the sweetest voice you can imagine said "I missed you."  Ack!  I could've just squeezed him to death.  I spent a few hours with them and it was just like old times.

I was off work yesterday (as I am most Tuesdays), and had some people come and give us estimates on different things.  A guy gave us a quote on finishing our garage (right now it's just drywalled and mudded, but has never been sanded or painted).  It's almost 700 square feet with pretty tall ceilings and it's just not something we're excited about tackling ourselves.  We've held off on installing any sort of organizational devices in there because we know we need to get it painted, so it will be nice once it's all done to have a place to hang our bikes, put my gardening supplies, and store sports equipment.  The guy's quote seems reasonable, but we want to get one or two more just to make sure.

The lady from Closets by Design also came and took measurements and sketched out my dream closet.  OMG, you should see the shelf space and drawers it's going to have!  Well, I say "it's going to have" and not "it might have" because I'm sloooowly convincing Steven that we NEED a new closet system.  He'll come around eventually.  California Closets is coming on Friday, but I won't have time for her to sit down and sketch with me (if they even do that) because we're leaving for Pigeon Forge right afterwards.  It'll be interesting to see what her quote is.  For some reason, I think she'll be more expensive, but we shall see.  Either way we go, it's definitely a splurge.

I spent yesterday afternoon putting out some spring decor (yes, I know it's only February) - I'll share soon!
