I went on a little shopping spree last week (don't worry... I had a gift card and a coupon code to use, so our bank account didn't suffer!) and am now expecting two packages. Eek! I'm also participating in CRAFT's Package Pals so I have that little surprise to look forward to. AND a fabulous web site contacted little ol' me and wanted to give me a new flat iron to try out (look for that review as soon as I test it out!) which should be waiting for me when I get home today. I can hardly wait to rip it open!
So anyway, I know you're all just dying to know what I ordered.
For starters, this dress.
If you remember from my Hawaiian Wardrobe via Polyvore post last week, this dress made an appearance and I just couldn't get it out of my head! It was $59.95, and they sent me a $20 off my first order promo code making it $39.95, with an additional 20% percent off because they were running a promotion on their spring line (which I didn't know until I checked out - I love surprise deals!). It ended up being only $27.96! I mean, really, how could I pass that up? By the by, I love eShakti... go check it out!
I also ordered a pair of lounge pants, a pair of yoga pants, and a bracelet from Aerie (used a gift card - wahoo!). I was going to use my gift card in the store, but they didn't have the pants I wanted, so I forfeited $7 for shipping, but it's worth it if I can get what I want! Yes, those pants also appeared in my Hawaiian Wardrobe. I got a zip hoodie from Gap last weekend, so my airplane outfits are pretty much set! Is it weird that I'm planning my wardrobe 3 months in advance and saving everything to wear in the Aloha State? I'm perfectly okay being the weirdo hoarding Gap and AE bags in her closet until time to pack. After all, I don't want to be wearing the same old things while in a tropical paradise that I do around town. It also gives me something a little extra to look forward to.
Steven and I got our tickets to the Old Lahaina Luau (supposedly the best in Maui - it should be for $100 each!) last weekend. We wanted to go last time but it was booked solid. We didn't doany much advanced planning when we went for our honeymoon because I was a tad preoccupied with wedding details. In fact, I didn't even pack or think about what I needed to pack until after our reception. To make matters worse, we had to get up at 4 a.m. the next morning... I'm definitely not doing that again!
Hmm... this post got a little off-topic. It was supposed to be about my love for packages. So here's a sentence that sums it up: Send me something in the mail and I will love you forever.

Lucky you! Free stuff/discounts are always great! I love getting packages too!
ReplyDeleteAunt Missa LOVES checking the mail......
ReplyDeleteEven better when that big brown truck drives up and toots his horn to alert me when a package has arrived!!! It doesn't help that he is totally hot! I hit the Jackpot every time he drives into my driveway! He does lack some backing up skills though. My mulch is proof of that. I just overlook that when I glare into his beautiful eyes....
