Operation Craft Room: Fabric Covered Canvases

Tuesday, February 28, 2012

The other day, I showed you guys the very empty gallery wall in my craft room.  I have a lot of canvases to fill (by a lot, I mean 19!), so I thought I would start off easy by using some leftover fabric from my lavish lime table and desk revamp, as well as Amy Butler's Full Moon Dots in Cherry and Heather Bailey's Zag Stripe in Turquoise.

I just wrapped the canvases like a present, using hot glue on the back to secure (in case I ever change my mind later, I didn't want to staple the fabric).

Full Moon Dots and Wallflower in Cherry on 8 x 10s.

Pop Daisy in the embroidery hoop and Zag Stripe on a 16 x 20.  I love how the Zag Stripe plays off the chevron pattern in the printable on the other side.

I also found these cutie patootie owl note cards at TJ Maxx a couple weeks ago.  The colors are perfect for the room, so I hot glued a couple of them onto an 8 x 10.

Aren't they the sweetest things?  Gah, love.

So that's 4 canvases down, only 15 to go!  Any ideas?
