Fingernail Friday: Thanksgiving Festive

Friday, November 23, 2012

Were you guys out at Walmart at 8 p.m. last night with the rest of the crazies?  I waited until 6 this morning, like a normal person.  Ha, going shopping at 6 a.m. still isn't that normal, but it's oh so fun!  I'm back home now, recovering.  I didn't even take the bags out of my car, but came straight inside, put on my PJ pants and am now snuggled up under my heated blanket in front of the TV watching a Christmas movie.  Basically, today is my favorite day of the year.  Hope you guys scored some Black Friday deals!

I love being festive and sparkly for holidays, so I knew I needed a festive and sparkly manicure to  go with my sparkly cardi (stay tuned for next week's What I Wore Wednesday!).

Sally Hansen Insta-Dry Top Coat
Maybelline Color Show Pedal to the Metal
Essie Set in Stones
Essie Bobbing for Baubles

I picked up Pedal to the Metal at Target a couple weeks ago because it was the sparkliest silver I had ever seen AND it was only $2.  I mean, how can you pass that up?  So I painted three coats of that on my ring finger, followed up with 2 coats of Set in Stones, which made for an uber sparkly nail!

Bobbing for Baubles looks a lot more charcoal gray in person than it does in these photos, but it does have a tad of navy blue thrown in.

I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving filled with lots of yummy food and time spent with family.  And now... LET THE CHRISTMAS FESTIVITIES BEGIN!  Wahoooo!  :)
