Hi, and welcome to the brand spankin' new!

I am SO excited you are here!

In case you're new around here, my husband (S1), my daughter (S2), and I are building a house!  We lived at 2027 for 7 years, and we plan on living in our new house until death do we part.  It shall henceforth be our "forever home."

Let me take a quick minute to explain the new name.

Love = My family
Lake = The location of our new home
Living = And all that goes along with it

(P.S. Thank you to the realtor whose random flier we picked up while out driving around lakefront communities one day.  In big letters at the top, it said "LOVE LAKE LIVING."  Don't mind if I do.)

So, since we're moving on from 2027, I thought it only fitting that I move on from the blog as well.  Well, it's not really moving on, but evolving.  All of my old posts from 2027 have been transferred over here, so any links/pins/etc. should forward.  I say "should" because I'm no technical whiz and I did this whole thing myself so forgive me if something isn't working quite right.

Okay, let's take a quick tour!

I purchased the fab template from 17th Avenue on Etsy.  It's the "Emma" template which I customized with my own logo and colors.  Isn't it great?

The most important feature on my whole site are those little buttons over there to the right.  See them?

I would be forever, eternally grateful if you would click on that first one and subscribe to my NEW RSS feed.  The rest are pretty self-explanatory.  You can follow me on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, or shoot me an e-mail.

Click on my photo or the "About LLL" link at the top of the page to learn more about the history of the blog.  It's a good read - pop on over and check it out. :)

I also have a blogroll, which is not comprehensive, but does contain the blogs I read on a daily basis.  There are TOO TOO many fabulous blogs to list them all, but I will slowly add to my blogroll over time.  I know I love seeing what other bloggers are reading, so I figured you guys would appreciate that too.

You can also search and, if you like reading posts in your e-mail, you have that option too!

At the bottom of each post are three share buttons: FB, Pinterest and Twitter.  If you like a post, you can easily share them with your pals on social media.

Along with the new blog will hopefully come more predictable posting.  I will have tons to share in the coming months and I miss this community so much.  Since 2027 has been on the market since last July, I haven't had much new DIY/decor material to share so it's been pretty baby-centric around these parts. I'm hoping to get back to a regular posting schedule (definitely not everyday but more than once a month!) so keep checking in.

Come back tomorrow for more details on the new house build.  Also, search #lovelakelivingbuild on Instagram for real-time progress.
