3 months.

Hello everybody and welcome to Thursday!

Our baby girl is THREE months old now.  Time flew with S2, but it's really at warp speed this time around.  I thought I would take a minute to stop and reflect on Baby R at 3 months old.

She smiles, coos up a storm and is generally a pretty happy baby!  She loves laying on the playmat, both at home and at daycare.  She goes to town on all the toys hanging down!  One of the daycare ladies said that she tried to get a picture of her playing but it turned out blurry because she was moving so fast. 😂

She had her first cold.  Or allergies?  I'm really not sure.  I'm inclined to think allergies, but then I read an article that said babies don't really get allergies, so I don't know.

She never had a fever and was smiley the whole time, but she had a dry cough, runny nose and a sneeze.  The coughing and sneezing would keep her up at night, which would, in turn, keep us up at night.  Last night, she woke up at 3:30, and I maybe took a little catnap before I had to get up for the day at 6.  So yeah, I'm tired.

And also, can we just segue here and talk about seasonal allergies?  Last year was the first time that I had any allergy symptoms whatsoever, and I'm beginning to think it's hitting me again this year.  Mostly in the form of a sinus headache.  This mama ain't got no time for a headache.  Cue us running the humidifier at full blast and crossing all appendages that this allergy season will soon be behind us.

I think she recognizes all of us now and the way she looks at S2 just melts my mama heart.  I can't wait until she gets older and I get to see their relationship develop.

Speaking of S2, I asked her the other day if we had the cutest baby ever and she totally agreed, so it must be true, right? 😉

She is mostly formula fed now (she wasn't gaining on breastmilk and was falling off her growth curve so we had to supplement) and is becoming quite the chunker.  I think she'll be out of 0-3 month clothes pretty soon!  I have quite a few outfits that she hasn't even worn yet because S2 was smaller for longer (I don't think she wore 3-6 until she was 4.5-5 months old).

Baby R, you are the perfect addition to our family!
