Hey friends! So, we just got back from a short beach vacation (we went to Hilton Head Island, SC – have you been?!), and I thought I should round up all of my very FAVORITE beach-going essentials.

We have and love the majority of these things, and a couple I’m intrigued by!
I love the patterns of this umbrella (1) and these towels (2), of course paired with towel clips (3), just trust me!
We don’t have these particular beach chairs (4), but what I love about these is that they fold up umbrella-style like a typical soccer-mom chair, which would take up WAY less room in your beach wagon, or be WAY easier to carry than the ones that just fold in half and you wear like a backpack. They still sit low to the ground so you can dig your toes into the sand, too! It’s also a set of 2 for a GREAT price – way cheaper than the typical beach chairs you’re used to seeing!
The beach blanket (6) comes with metal stakes to stake it into the sand, which is the ONLY way to not spend your whole day annoyed with the wind blowing up the edges of your blanket! I also love having beach coasters (5) so you can sit your drink down anywhere without it ending up with a sandy bottom. (No one likes a sandy bottom 😜)
I have this beach bag (7), and it’s really the best. You can fit everything you need in there but it still stays really organized because of all the pockets.
This sand toy set (8) is SO cute – R’s favorite is the watering can. Just ask me how many trips we make to the ocean so she can fill it back up, only to pour it out when we get to our chairs. 🙃
Maybe something you haven’t thought about throwing in your beach bag is a first aid kit (9)! Somehow boo boos always happen and band-aids make them better.
Kindle has upgraded their Paperwhite edition (10) so that there’s an optional lit screen, and this is genius! I love reading on my Paperwhite at the beach (no glare like if you’re trying to read on your phone or iPad), but I like the option of being able to read it in the dark too!
Before you hit up the beach, my favorite sunless tanner and mitt (11 & 12) are a MUST. This combo gives the most natural and even tan.
What I love about this waterproof bluetooth speaker (13) is that it has a little loop on the top! Put a carabiner (14) through the loop and then hook it onto the side of your chair or beach bag or wherever, so you don’t have to sit it down in the sand. Genius!!
I love Swig cups, and this wine tumbler (15) has become my new favorite, but their water bottle (16) is a necessity to stay hydrated in the heat!
