Helloooooo! Wide leg pants (especially cropped ones) have been super trendy this spring and I LOVE it. There’s something so freeing about having room for your legs to move around (no offense, Skinny Jeans).
I think they can be kind of tricky to figure out what to wear with them, though, especially ones with a paper bag waist (enter another trend, stage left 😆), so I thought I’d give you a few styling ideas today!
#1: Dress them up a bit with a fitted tank and some summer wedges!

These exact pants are from Banana Republic Factory and I can’t find them online, so I’ve linked several very similar options! The ones I’m wearing are a petite length (I’m 5’0).
The bones of this outfit are super simple, but adding some fun shoes (and a fun pair of earrings!) elevate it for date night or a girlfriend brunch.
#2: Make them work-appropriate with a blouse and some mules!

I also added my leather work tote (this one from Madewell. Similar, less expensive option linked in the widget – the product image shows a green bag, but if you click on the link there’s a cognac option!) and my blue light glasses (LOVE these things, find them here on Amazon). I think I look a little nerdy in that second pic, HA, but trust me when I say that this outfit was super simple, yet chic and understated. I added a simple gold necklace to highlight the V of the top.
#3: Make them casual for weekend errands with a pocket tee, rattan crossbody and sandals.

I like feeling a little pulled together on the weekend (even if I don’t wash my hair), but I don’t want to put in a ton of effort, so a tank, a cute bag and some easy slide sandals make for a pretty effortless outfit!
So what do you think, are you on board with the wide leg pants trend? I hope these styling options were helpful!
