Hello! Today I’m sharing a little makeover that I gave our foyer a couple weeks ago. First, here’s a look at the BEFORE:

I love this 8-foot long bench that I picked up at an antiques festival a couple years ago, but always struggled with what I should hang above it. This is a LARGE wall – roughly 18 feet tall – and I worried that anything I picked would be too small and not make enough of an impact.
But a couple weeks ago, I was browsing through Target (as one does) when I came across this art (Project 62 by Mya Bessette via Minted).
It was love at first sight and large enough that I thought it could work in this space. While I was there, I also picked up this oversized pillow and a gold lantern, and thus my refreshed foyer space was complete!

I posted a timelapse video of styling the bench on Instagram, if you want to check that out! It’s saved in my highlight bubbles (check out my IG here).

It’s so much classier, cleaner looking and more importantly, finished! This is the first space our guests see when they walk into the house (obviously 😆) so it’s nice that it’s an inviting, welcoming space now.

These books are Penguin Classics – I have a ton of them so I pulled in the soft blue and green ones to coordinate with the art. And I’d be remiss not to mention my new favorite thing – the Studio McGee limestone knot! 😍

This exact lantern isn’t showing up on the Target site, but they had 2 sizes in my store – this is the larger of the 2.
