The last few years (okay, since we’ve been married), I’ve gone the DIY Christmas Card route. I love putting together something unique that I know no one else will have, but this year, I just didn’t have it in me.
I used Minted this time around, and I have to say, I don’t know that I’ll go back.
“The Ourlastname Family” was in that empty black space at the bottom, but I photoshopped it out to protect the innocent. 🙂
The paper stock was so NICE and THICK, the printing was clear and consistent, even the envelopes were almost too nice to send through the mail!
We didn’t even take a Christmas card photo this year. I stole one of the ones from our gender reveal photo shoot. This season just snuck up on me and went by so fast that I didn’t have the time/energy to do a lot of the things I normally do. No outdoor decorations (except the dollar store swags on the front doors), no dining room tablescape, and just gift cards for the hard-to-buy-fors on our list. Heck, I haven’t even hung up all of the cards we’ve received (they’re sitting in a pile on the dining room table). I’m cutting myself some slack, though. I’m growing a human here, and she’s already draining all of my energy!
I’m planning on using Minted again for our baby announcements… I can’t wait until she’s finally here!

P.S. This is not a sponsored post. Minted doesn’t know who I am. But for those of you shopping around for holiday cards in the future, or cards for another occasions, Minted does not disappoint!
