Fun Manicure: Turquoise Dots

I got Essie’s Turquoise & Caicos for Christmas and it has quickly become my favorite!  I wear it often, but this time I thought I’d pair it with some fun white polka dots.

I painted my nails with the turquoise, waited a few hours for them to dry completely, then placed tape across the bottom half of each nail and painted the tips white.  While the white was still wet, I peeled the tape off, then dipped a toothpick in polish and created the polka dots.  I think it’s cute and different, but I already have ideas swirling in my head for different designs using tape and polka dots.  Stay tuned! 🙂
