There’s really nothing that beats the twinkle of a Christmas tree, don’t you agree? It’s just so magical. (Read all out my deal-of-the-century on our 10.5′ prelit tree here.)
I kept our mantel super simple this year, with just some flocked (unlit) garland, a couple candlesticks and our stockings.
Our Pottery Barn stockings are my favorite. So simple, yet festive.
I decorated our foyer more than usual this year, and I love it! We had this 6′ unlit tree already, so I just strung some lights, made some pom pom ornaments (with a pom pom maker I bought on Amazon), and got some ribbon and bow from Walmart. It was really inexpensive but I love the way it turned out!
psst… that’s a scarf pretending to be a tree skirt. 😉
Bottle brush trees are my love language.
I bought this 4′ flocked tree from Walmart to use in the foyer, but decided that it worked perfectly in the girls’ playroom with their ballerina ornaments. We have a lot of trees this year, y’all. 😆
AND I got some Christmas sheets for our bed. Not only are they cute with little trucks-carrying-Christmas-trees, but they are so soft, comfy and make our room v. festive.
Even the porch got a little extra holiday cheer this year in the form of lighted garland on the columns and 2 real pine trees on either side of the front door. I feel very on top of things this year… with the exception of the shopping. Why can I never feel done with the shopping?!
All of these photos were shot with my iPhone 8+ and edited in Lightroom Mobile. Sometimes I break out the DSLR and sometimes I shoot with my phone and honestly? It’s hard to beat the ease and quality of iPhone pics!
